It encompasses all aspects of human life including culture, politics, economics, religion, education, family and social interactions. Human societies have evolved over time through various stages such as hunting and gathering, agriculture, industry to the current information age. The study of human society is known as sociology which seeks to understand how humans interact with each other in groups and organizations, and how these interactions shape our lives.
